LATHE WARDENSOMERISH WARDWICK OF LATHE AND TOWN
This is as close as you get to an army in Somery. The main purpose of
the Warden is law enforcement, but it is also working closely together
with the Warding Freewillers, which is a combined Fire Brigade and
Ambulance service.

The insignia consists of rank, lathe symbol and a
number. The country is divided into a number of ward shires, identical
with hundreds and boroughs, and groups of these form ward lathes,
based on lathes or parts of lathes. The example shows ward lathe
Shirleith II.
These are the 12 lathe symbols:
From left to right: Avillion, Norther Troy, Sutherewland,
Northerewland, Farnset, Shirleith, Daylowe, Mar, Shirdover, Lynnest,
Elvery and Suther Troy.
