DESCRIPTION

The shire occupies the southern part of lathe Avillion, being its old heartland. The centre is made up of the Avillion Evens watered by the rivers Avon and Wren. This region is famous for its muist (pronounced moysht), i.e. apple cider. In the southeast the Avon takes its source in the Angel Mountains. Michelweald covers the hills of the western part of the shire, also known as the Lens.

THE FLAG

The flag carries the colours and a simplified symbol of the shield of the coat of arms.
THE COAT OF ARMS

The waves symbolize the big river, Avon, and the three red 'planks' represent a bridge crossing it, which alludes to the shire seat, Bridglea. The crest carries the symbols of lathe Avillion, a tree between two apples. The shield is supported by two cocks.
