DESCRIPTION

The shire is dominated by the Dill valley, forming the suthernmost parts of lathes Elvery and Suther Troy. The land rises in the east to meet the Angel Mountains. Near Highmond are the Edrannashan caves, with prehistoric paintings, thought to be at least 8,000 years old.
